Aidan Strain Electrical Engineering Ltd (ASEE) has been operating since 1993 and have a long-established reputation in building large computer-dependent data centres across Europe. With a strong emphasis to continue their growth in 2019, ASEE has focused on larger projects across the UK and Europe. As a result of the increased administrative work being generated, ASEE had recently expanded their Accounts team considerably.
Prior to selecting Construct for Sage as their job costing solution, ASEE were reliant on manually filling out spreadsheets alongside Sage. This process was proving to be highly time-consuming and leading to cost inefficiencies as their records had to be duplicated between their Sage system and various spreadsheets without a way for them to generate job cost reports at the speed they required on their projects.

As their projects often rely on hired plant, ASEE were highly interested in being able to see what plant is on each of their sites and to off-hire plant as soon as it’s no longer required.
Using the Construct Mobile Delivery Notes app, ASEE are now able to join up their on-site team with the back office to consistently achieve a three-way match between the purchase orders raised, the goods delivered on-site and the invoices received.
