EQUE2 BUILDS A GOOD STORY WITH 33% INCREASE IN REVENUES

January 8, 2015

Megabuyte.com has reported on Eque2’s success following the issue of the company’s 2014 accounts. The accounts highlight revenues of £8.8m, an increase of 33% during the year following the management buyout (MBO) from Sage. Although Eque2 is no longer a subsidiary of Sage, Eque2 remains their preferred supplier of SME Sage construction accounting software to the construction industry, while also partnering with Microsoft to offer EVision, a popular mid-market ERP solution based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

The accounts also detail a healthy 8.8% margin achieved from an adjusted EBITDA totalling £0.8m; a net cash position of £2.1m excluding shareholder loan notes; and a net debt position of just £1.8m.

As well as indicating a healthy, stable business that’s well-positioned to drive forward with product development that meets the requirements of the industry, the results point to a general recovery in the UK construction market.
