The Requirements

Due to expansion of the business, we are looking to add an additional Business Central/NAV Developer to our EVision Team.

Reporting to the Development Manager, you will be part of a close-knit established team of Business Central professionals responsible for the development and support of our EVision Construction solution within C/AL and AL platforms.

You will deliver high quality software to meet the customer and commercial needs in accordance with defined standards, best practice and agreed deadlines. You must be comfortable both working autonomously on tasks and contributing with other teams in a collaborative environment.

This will be an exciting time for the company as we continue our digital transformation and transitioning of our products to the cloud.


  • Provide solutions that meet customer requirements, following internal standards
  • Produce technical documentation
  • Work with Product Team to create solutions and features for our products
  • Work with Support Team to resolve customer issues
  • Share ideas and assist colleagues

Skills and Qualifications

  • Either a proven aptitude for software development or a degree in software engineering (or another numerate discipline)
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Logical thinker
  • Understanding of complex information and requirements
  • Good communications skills – written and verbal
  • A good team-playing mentality
  • Confidence in decision-making
  • An ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure and within constraints
  • Experience working in an ISV environment

Technical skills

  • Required:
    • Strong knowledge of C/AL Development
    • Good knowledge of Business Central/NAV modules
    • Good documentation skills
    • Driven and self-motivated
  • Desirable:
    • AL Development
    • Building apps for AppSource (SaaS)
    • GitHub
    • SQL Server experience
    • .net


  • Working hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
  • Location: Can work out of our Newcastle office (NE15 8NZ) or Maidenhead office (SL6 1LD), or be home-based with occasional travel to one of our offices.
